Cleveland defense celebrates a turnover against Amarillo High School in route to a 47-30 victory at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo, TX.

The Cleveland Storm traveled to Amarillo, TX and came out with the win against a solid Amarillo High School football team. The game was back and forth and was not lacking for highlights. Cleveland started off the game with a TD drive and kept that pace up for the entirety of the game. The Storms defense came through clutch winning the turnover battle with 4 fumble recoveries and 1 interception. Cleveland’s offense was as dangerous as they usually are. Nic Trujillo had 3 TDs on the day. Evan Wysong went 17/31 for 222 and 4 TDs while adding 152 rushing yards. Cleveland will be traveling again next week as they take on Las Cruces High School at the Field of Dreams on Saturday 9/10 at 1pm.
